Many of Grammatica’s pages contain interactive features, such as expandable navigation lists or self-marking exercises. These features do not work on all browsers.
If you can’t see some or all of Grammatica’s interactive features, that might be because:
- your browser is too old, or
- you have JavaScript turned off.
Use a modern browser
Grammatica’s interactive features only work in modern browsers: Internet Explorer 6, Firefox and Safari. If you don’t have one of these browsers, you can download and use Firefox, which works on Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
Turn JavaScript on
Grammatica’s interactive features rely on a technology called JavaScript. JavaScript enables pages to respond to your input by changing their content or appearance.
Most browsers allow you to turn JavaScript off. If your browser has JavaScript turned off you will not be able to see any of Grammatica’s interactive features.
Here’s how to turn JavaScript back on:
- Internet Explorer 6 (Windows)
- Choose Security from the Internet Options window. Click on the globe for Internet zone. Click on the Custom Level button. Scroll down to Scripting and click the Enable button under Active Scripting.
- Firefox (Windows or Mac OS)
- Choose Content from the preferences window, and check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
- Safari (Mac OS)
- Choose Security from the preferences window, and check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
The interactive features should start working after you re-load the page.
